At CPT they  were taught different test to check the strength and quality of building materials, setting out ,manufacturing of hollow blocks etc.

4th day they went to a construction site of Nirmithi which was near the Central Civil Station Kudapanakunnu.

Last day they again gathered at Nirmithi Kendra  and we submitted the reports and  got their certificates.

It was a good experience as we were exposed into a new world of construction and building. Our classes mainly dealt with sustainable engineering practices. The visits to construction sites gave us lot of practical knowledge.

AT THE HABITAT CENTRE

  • The second batch was again split up into four teams.
  • Their first class was at Habitat Technology Office at Poojappura that was headed by Architect Madhusoodhanan and rest of the days they visited construction sites under the guidance of various architects.
